Registered Dietitian (RD)
Nicole Pin, Registered Dietitian (RD) graduated from the University of Guelph with a Bachelors in Applied Human Nutrition, with Honours. Following that, she completed her Masters of Applied Nutrition, and accredited dietetic internship. Through her internship, she gained diverse experience in community, clinical and foodservice settings, most notably the Niagara Health System and Loblaws. Her master’s research focused on the positive impacts of feeding assistance in acute hospital settings. She is a member in good standing with the College of Dietitians of Ontario, and maintains active membership with Dietitians of Canada.
Nicole believes food and meal experiences should not only be a time for nourishing our physical bodies, but also our emotional and social well-being. Her motto is simple-“enjoy your food, enjoy your life!”
The kitchen has always been her home. From a young age, Nicole loved to help prepare meals with her parents. She grew in a family where food was meant to have beautiful flavours, to be shared with good company, and to bring happiness to the table. As her knowledge and passion for food and nutrition grew she developed a philosophy for healthy eating laced with the love and prosperity for food that she holds close to her heart.
Nicole has a great passion for working with people, and uses evidence based practices. Nicole works with clients using a lifestyle approach and intuitive/mindful eating model. This involves a personalized assessment and periodic follow-up sessions to achieve dietary goals tailored to your health needs and desires.
